man 90 years 171 cm 80 kg
We are looking for a caregiver for a 90-year-old senior (80 kg, 171 cm) from the town of Eppingen (75031). The senior has suffered a stroke in 11/2025, has a dependency level of 3, and uses a wheelchair. He has cognitive impairment following the stroke – he is oriented at home and recognizes people, but orientation is limited outside the home. Speech is understandable but slow and quiet. Hearing is impaired, requiring loud and clear communication. Vision is weakened. The senior has urinary incontinence and currently has a catheter (it is uncertain if it will remain). Bowel movements are controlled. He has polyneuropathy. Assistance is fully required for getting up, transfers, hygiene, dressing, and toileting. Transfers occur with minimal cooperation from the senior. A stair lift is available. Assistance is needed with overall hygiene, dressing, transfers, toileting, changing incontinence aids, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and shopping. The senior eats independently but requires soft food; meals need to be cut and served as necessary. It is important to monitor regular fluid intake. Medication therapy is prepared, and the caregiver's role is to ensure medication is taken. Small shopping trips are accessible on foot, while larger shopping needs are arranged with the family. Nighttime assistance is needed approximately 1×, as required. The senior lives alone in a two-story house. Furnished accommodation and internet access are provided for the caregiver. Time off can be arranged with the family.

No, completing a caregiving course is not necessary for most job positions; however, it is important to have at least some experience from a home environment.
Finding a family is a highly individual matter for each applicant, and therefore there is no exact timeframe for when we will find you a family with whom you will be mutually compatible. In some cases, we are able to arrange work within a few days; in other instances, the waiting period can be up to a month. For families in Switzerland, due to high demand, the wait may extend to two months.
If you are interested, we can arrange transportation for you. We have long-term partnerships with transport companies that our caregivers happily use repeatedly. Of course, you can also choose another transportation method that you prefer. The caregiver pays for the journey themselves, with the family in Germany contributing €150-200 towards it, and in Switzerland 380 CHF.
In Germany, the standard length of a work period is 4 to 6 weeks, while in Switzerland it's 2 months. In the case of temporary replacements, the periods are shorter.
